During the program, the couple discussed the process of awarding the Presidential Awards in response to a question from the host.

Fazila had remarked that the authorities responsible for granting these awards often overlook hardworking artists, claiming that the awards are given based on favoritism and connections rather than merit.

She sarcastically added that she was thankful her husband received the award during a time when the recognition was based on the artist's actual work rather than influence.
