Triptii Dimri speaks on the challenges of fame post-'Animal'

After completing four films last year, the actress highlighted the importance of self-care.

Triptii Dimri, who gained recognition for her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, has shared insights into how her rising fame has impacted her daily life.

In a recent interview with Indian media, she admitted that while she sought fame, it has come at the expense of her freedom.

In the interview, she reflected on missing her freedom, stating, "One wants fame, but I love my freedom too I love going for long walks. I love chilling with my friends without getting bothered about other things, but now that this has happened, things have changed. I’m not free anymore. The sense of freedom has kind of gone away."

She reminisced about her carefree days spent walking along Carter Road and dining out, activities she can no longer enjoy as freely. "I have to be very careful," she noted, adding that she misses that aspect of her life.

To recharge from the pressures of fame, she often escapes to the mountains.

Triptii Dimri acknowledged the impact of her growing fanbase on her life, admitting that adjusting to this new reality has been challenging.

After completing four films last year, Triptii Dimri highlighted the importance of self-care, noting that constant interaction with others can be mentally and physically exhausting.

Looking ahead, she is gearing up for the release of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, where she stars alongside Rajkummar Rao.

This comedy-drama is set to hit theatres on October 11, 2024, and will compete with Alia Bhatt’s Jigra, which features Vedang Raina.
