Gold prices continue to dip in both global and domestic markets
In Pakistan, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,100, bringing it down to Rs274,400 per tola.
Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams fell by Rs943, reaching Rs235,254 locally.
On the other hand, in the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $11, bringing the new global price to $2,642.
On the other hand, Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) hit another all-time high as the market saw a significant surge today during intra day trading, with the current index standing at 82,927.72, reflecting an increase of 960.72 points and a 1.17% rise.
Earlier, the price of 24-carat gold per tola decreased by Rs600, reaching Rs274,900, while 10 grams of gold fell by Rs515, settling at Rs235,682.
In the international market, gold prices also dropped by $6 per ounce, bringing the price to $2,647.
Respectively, gold had hit a record high of Rs264,000 per tola due to global market trends and investor anticipation of upcoming US CPI inflation data.
