Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is acting as the 'head of constitutional amendments.'

Talking to the media, the veteran politician said that politicians should learn from their mistakes, stressing that PTI will not pursue legal cases against anyone if they come to power.

He mentioned that he was not in the province on May 9, yet he is still in jail, having received a ten-year prison sentence in the cipher case.

He stated that the Punjab government is misusing Section 144, dragging his wife and children into court proceedings, which has never been seen by their generation. Instead of crying out about these cases, they demand justice.

He noted that Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto have also faced similar circumstances.

Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb referred to judicial policy, asserting that bail decisions should be made within 5 to 7 days. Holding a prisoner indefinitely violates fundamental rights.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi previously accused Bilawal Bhutto of "burying" the 1973 constitution, which was drafted by his grandfather, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, through proposed amendments.

Earlier in an informal discussion with media representatives , Shah Mahmood Qureshi strongly condemned these amendments, labelling them as an attack on the independence of the judiciary and expressing concerns about their implications for the legal framework established by the constitution.
