Jr NTR’s Devara crosses $5 million mark at North America box office

Devara has already become Jr NTR’s highest-grossing solo film in North America.

Renowned Telugu actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr's latest release Devara has crossed the $5 million mark at the North American box office, solidifying the film's position as a major hit abroad.

The Telugu film, which has been performing well in India, continues to dominate in North America, one of the largest markets for Telugu cinema outside of India.

Devara had a strong opening weekend in North America, earning $5 million and surpassing Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis, which grossed $4 million.

The film’s premiere alone pulled in $2.85 million, with an additional $2.4 million earned over the following five days. On the sixth day, Devara added $100,670, bringing its total to $5.44 million.

The breakeven point for the film is set at $5.5 million, and with no significant competition until Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan releases next week, Devara is expected to surpass this soon.

It has already become Jr NTR’s highest-grossing solo film in North America.

After Devara, Jr NTR will be seen in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. The film is part of the YRF Spy Universe, which features characters like Tiger, Zoya, Pathaan, and Rubai.
