Wizkid takes shots at Davido again, calls him 'wack' on X

Award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats star, Wizkid, has resumed his longstanding rivalry with fellow music giant, Davido. 

In a series of tweets on X (formerly Twitter), Wizkid announced the release of his first single of the year, while simultaneously reigniting their feud by making direct jabs at Davido. 

The tension intensified when an X user questioned Wizkid’s motive behind the diss, tweeting, “So if you no beef @davido, your song won’t sell?” 

In response, Wizkid dismissed the accusation, boldly stating, “I don’t beef with wack niggas! We all know he’s wack! No talent. Frigodo.” 

He further referred to Davido by coining a new derogatory nickname, “Frigodo,” and added, “Bingos got nothing on Starboy General till Infinity.”

The rivalry between Wizkid and Davido has been a long and turbulent one, filled with both professional and personal attacks. 

Recent controversies have only fueled the fire, with both artists taking personal shots. 

Davido accused Wizkid of domestic abuse toward his girlfriend and baby mama, Jada Pollock. In retaliation, Wizkid mocked Davido’s infidelity, hinting that the “FEM” singer had been caught begging for sex from a side chick. 

Wizkid didn’t stop there, further mocking Davido’s foray into cryptocurrency after the latter launched a meme coin, advising fans to “work smart so as not to hustle like a fool.”
