WATCH: Israeli soldiers duck for cover as Iran unleashes ballistic missiles
A video has emerged showing Israeli soldiers taking cover as Iran launched over 400 ballistic missiles targeting various key locations across Israel.
The missiles, fired from cities such as Isfahan, Tabriz, Khorramabad, Karaj, and Arak, caused sirens to sound across Israel, including in occupied Jerusalem.
According to Israeli media, rockets fell in Tel Aviv and Sharon, with reports of injuries.
Israel's ambulance services confirmed two people were wounded.
The video depicts Israeli soldiers lying on a mountain peak, attempting to shield themselves from incoming missiles.
In one instance, a soldier is seen covering his head as missiles streak across the sky, with the sound of sirens audible in the background.
Israel's ambulance services reported several injuries as civilians rushed to shelters amidst the chaos. Many were treated for injuries sustained during the panicked evacuations.
Israeli airspace has been closed, with all passengers at airports relocated to safer areas.
Tehran Times reported that one of the targeted sites was the Nevatim Air Base, home to Israel's F-35 fighter jets.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for the attack, stating it was retaliation for Israeli strikes targeting Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
The IRGC warned that if Israel responds militarily, it would face even more severe and destructive attacks.
According to US reports, some of the missiles landed just one kilometre from the headquarters of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency.
