Moo Deng, the pygmy hippo who has gained millions of online followers, may be developing a troublesome reputation. 

In late September, a video surfaced showing Moo Deng aggressively biting her caretaker while he attempted to hose her down in her enclosure. The video, uploaded to a fan page, quickly garnered over 6 million views, with mixed reactions from fans.

One viewer described the hippo as "kind of mean," while another commented, "Baby girl is always choosing violence." Despite her popularity for being cute and playful, this incident has sparked debate about her temperament.

The zoo’s staff has raised concerns about the effect Moo Deng's fame is having on both the animal and visitors. Some fans, eager to catch her attention for the perfect snapshot, have reportedly thrown objects at her or splashed her with water, contributing to increased stress for the young hippo.

Moo Deng’s fame even reached the stage of "Saturday Night Live," where she was referenced during a Weekend Update segment. 

However, this latest video has sparked concerns over whether her viral stardom could be in jeopardy as she becomes known for more than just her adorable antics.
