The film, a Focus Features and Plan B production, delves into the complexities of familial relationships, exploring the bonds between fathers, sons, and brothers. Daniel Day-Lewis will be joined by a talented cast, including Sean Bean, Samantha Morton, Samuel Bottomley, and Safia Oakley-Green.

Focus Features chairman Peter Kujawski expressed his excitement about the project, praising Ronan Day-Lewis' vision and the exceptional script he co-wrote with Daniel Day-Lewis. "Anemone" marks a reunion between Daniel Day-Lewis and Focus Features, the studio behind his acclaimed film "Phantom Thread."

Ronan Day-Lewis, a promising painter, is also making his mark in the arts world with his debut international solo exhibition. His father, Daniel Day-Lewis, is a three-time Oscar winner known for his transformative performances in films like "Lincoln," "There Will Be Blood," and "My Left Foot."
