Houston attorney Tony Buzbee announced plans to file 120 lawsuits against Sean "Diddy" Combs, accusing him and his associates of sexual abuse. During an October 1, 2024, press conference, Buzbee, alongside co-counsel Andrew Van Arsdale, revealed that one of the victims was only 9 years old when Combs allegedly promised the child and their parents a record deal, only to later sexually abuse the child. Buzbee stated, “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs promised the then-9-year-old and his parents a record deal and then sexually abused the child.”

Buzbee shared that many of the victims had previously been afraid to come forward due to fear of retaliation. "They fear backlash in their communities, from their families, and from the perpetrators themselves," Buzbee said, adding, "Through this process, many powerful people will be exposed." The 120 alleged victims are evenly split between men and women, with at least 25 of them minors at the time of the alleged incidents.

The victims, representing over 25 states, include individuals from California, New York, Georgia, and Florida. The lawsuits will potentially involve corporate entities, such as banks and hotels, that allegedly profited from the abuse.

Combs’ legal team has previously denied the allegations and expressed that Combs is eager to clear his name.
