Netflix has released a new teaser for Squid Game Season 2, bringing back Gong Yoo as the Salesman.

The teaser, titled "You’re Invited," showcases Gong Yoo’s character returning to recruit new players, much like in Season 1. In the teaser, the Salesman hands a ddakji to an unsuspecting man, asking, “Sir, would you like to play a game with me?”

In Season 1, the Salesman recruited Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae) by challenging him to a game of ddakji in a subway station and handing him a mysterious card with a phone number. That encounter set off a chain of events leading Gi Hun into the dangerous Squid Game. The teaser suggests that the Salesman will continue to play a significant role in the recruitment of desperate players.

The second season will follow Gi Hun as he returns to the deadly competition, three years after his shocking decision to stay in South Korea. With 45.6 billion KRW (approximately 34 million USD) at stake, Gi Hun faces new challenges and competitors. Returning cast members include Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Joon, and Gong Yoo, with new additions like Im Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, and Park Gyu Young.

The teaser hints at a deeper exploration of the Salesman’s character, raising questions about his role in the games and whether Gi Hun can use his knowledge to survive without the Front Man discovering his plans. Squid Game Season 2 is set to premiere on December 26.
