Balochistan Chief Minister Sardar Sarfraz Bugti stated that the provincial government does not support military operations, insisting that "bloodshed will not free Balochistan," Express-News reported.

In a media briefing, CM Sarfraz Bugti condemned the recent targeted killings of workers in Panjgur, questioning how such violence contributes to the liberation of Balochistan. "The killing of workers is not the way to achieve freedom for the province," he remarked.

Few days ago, seven labourers were shot dead in an attack by armed assailants in Balochistan's Panjgur district.

The tragic incident took place in the Khuda Abadan area, where militants stormed a house and opened indiscriminate fire, leaving seven dead and one seriously injured.

Security forces and police reached the scene shortly after the attack, transporting the bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital. A search operation has been launched to track down the perpetrators, with the area under tight security.

The outlawed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has been blamed for the attack. The victims, all labourers hailing from Punjab, were working on a house construction project in the area.

Sarfraz Bugti further highlighted the concerning trend of educated Baloch youth being pushed toward terrorism, stating that they are being used as "fuel" by extremist groups. He urged the public to understand how terrorists deceive individuals into carrying out suicide attacks.

He specifically referenced Adila Baloch, noting that many children remain in terrorist camps, but her decision to forgo a suicide attack and return to safety marks a significant development. Sarfraz Bugti credited her father for his efforts in bringing her back, stating that when he received a message indicating his daughter would not return home, he fought to bring her back.

The Chief Minister called upon all parents to follow the example of Adila Baloch's father by reaching out to government representatives if they lose contact with their children, emphasising the need for proactive engagement in combating terrorism in the region.
