WATCH: Renowned religious scholar Dr. Zakir Naik arrives in Pakistan

Renowned preacher and scholar Dr. Zakir Naik has arrived in Pakistan, where he will stay until October 28.

Upon his arrival at the New Islamabad Airport, he was welcomed by Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Program Rana Mashhood, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Syed Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman, Parliamentary Secretary for Religious Affairs Shamsher Ali Mazari, and others.

According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Dr. Zakir Naik will deliver public speeches in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore, and will also lead and address Friday prayer congregations.

During his stay in Pakistan, he will meet with senior government officials and participate in public events as well.

Dr. Zakir Naik was escorted to Islamabad under tight security.
