Sean “Diddy” Combs’s iconic White Parties, known for their A-list guests and lavish settings, have been thrust into the spotlight amid the music mogul’s current legal troubles. Combs, who faces charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution, hosted these high-profile events in the 2000s in locations like the Hamptons and Beverly Hills. Celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashton Kutcher, and Demi Moore were among the attendees at these glamorous parties.

A lawsuit filed in July by Adria English, a former worker at these events, alleges that Combs used the White Parties as a front for illicit activities. English claims she was given drugs and coerced into sexual encounters with guests, describing herself as a “sexual pawn.” In response, Combs’s lawyer Jonathan Davis denied the accusations, stating that Combs had never “sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone.”

In a statement released by Combs’s representatives on Saturday, they defended the White Parties as cultural events, rejecting claims of wrongdoing. “It’s disappointing to see the media twist these cultural moments into something they were not,” the statement read.

While the White Parties are not mentioned in Combs’s current criminal indictment, the charges have led some to re-examine the events, previously seen as PR-driven affairs. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
