Internet suggests J. Cole's 'She Knows' links Aaliyah, Lisa Lopes, Michael Jackson deaths to Diddy
A viral TikTok theory has brought renewed attention to J. Cole’s 2013 track "She Knows," sparking online discussions linking the song’s lyrics to the deaths of Aaliyah, Lisa Lopes, and Michael Jackson. The theory suggests that Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Diddy were somehow involved in the deaths of the three artists, who coincidentally all passed away on the 25th of different months. This theory is based on a lyric from J. Cole's song that mentions, “Rest in peace to Aaliyah/ Rest in peace to Left Eye/ Michael Jackson, I’ll see ya.”
Aaliyah died in a plane crash on August 25, 2001, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes was killed in a car accident on April 25, 2002, and Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009, from cardiac arrest. Despite these tragic coincidences, no evidence supports the conspiracy claims that have emerged, suggesting involvement by Diddy, Jay-Z, or Beyoncé.
One social media user mockingly commented, “These people need hobbies, jobs even,” while others questioned how such a theory could even form. Another user jokingly added, “Her power!!! Apparently, she also started WWII.”
While the conspiracy has gained traction on platforms like TikTok and X, it remains purely speculative with no official evidence supporting the accusations. The online buzz has sparked a wider conversation on how internet culture can fuel wild and unfounded claims, particularly concerning well-known figures in the music industry.
