‘Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking’ show to be hosted by Fred and George Weasley
Warner Bros. Discovery has released the first trailer for "Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking," a new competition series set to premiere on Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on Food Network, while also streaming globally on Max.
Hosted by James and Oliver Phelps, known for their roles as Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter films, the series will bring back familiar faces like Warwick Davis, Evanna Lynch, and Bonnie Wright as guest judges.
The six-episode competition will challenge nine teams of pastry chefs and cake artists to create stunning edible masterpieces inspired by iconic moments from the Harry Potter universe. Food Network describes the show as a “ground-breaking series” combining legendary storytelling with “fantastical edible creations."
Filmed at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, the teams will craft their showpieces in memorable locations from the films, such as Platform 9¾, The Great Hall, and Diagon Alley.
Each week, the contestants will face off in spellbinding tasks designed to showcase both taste and visual creativity. The winning team will take home the “Wizards of Baking Cup” and will be featured in an upcoming Harry Potter-themed cookbook.
Warner Bros. Discovery has also confirmed that additional broadcasters for the series will be revealed in the coming weeks. The series is produced by Warner Horizon and theoldschool for Food Network.
