Blackpink’s Rosé signs global solo deal with Atlantic Records

Blackpink’s Rosé has signed a global solo deal with Atlantic Records, joining bandmates in pursuing solo careers.

Rosé, a member of the popular K-pop group Blackpink, has announced that she has signed a global solo deal with Atlantic Records. The 27-year-old singer shared the news on Instagram, expressing her excitement to her fans. “Hi my number ones, I am so so excited to announce to you my signing with @atlanticrecords!!! I know you’ve all waited sooo so long for this moment, but I hope you’re READY for what’s in store for the next few months!!” Rosé wrote, adding that she "CANNOTTT wait for you all to hear everything!" She also encouraged fans to follow her separate Instagram account @vampirehollie for updates and behind-the-scenes content.

Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, Rosé joined YG Entertainment in 2012 after a successful audition. She became the final member of Blackpink in 2016, helping the group achieve global success. As a solo artist, she released her debut single album R in 2021 through Interscope and YG Entertainment. The project included the tracks "On the Ground" and "Gone," with "On the Ground" peaking at No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Rosé's solo signing follows similar moves by her Blackpink bandmates Jennie and Lisa, who recently signed solo deals with Columbia Records and RCA Records, respectively. Outside of her music career, Rosé serves as a global ambassador for brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Puma, and Tiffany & Co.
