Funds released for road rehabilitation

Funds have been released for the Punjab Roads Rehabilitation Programme. A total of Rs35.9b has been allocated to rehabilitate roads in Rawalpindi.

The NA-53 Road Rehabilitation Programme includes nine roads: from Khawaja Corporation to Gorakhpur (Rs1.903 billion), from Garja to Thallian (Rs628.8 million) and several others.

Contractors have been instructed to start work immediately.
