On September 25, Cardi B went live on Instagram to air out her frustrations with her husband, Offset, revealing a tense exchange between the two rap stars.
Cardi accused the Migos rapper of threatening to take away gifts he had previously bought her, dismissing his actions as stemming from insecurity.
She then declared her intent to take the matter to court, stating, "Now we going to court. Court war, right?"
Cardi expressed her frustration over Offset's behavior in recent months, claiming that he believes he can "just buy a b**ch."
She fired back at his alleged hypocrisy, saying, "I find it funny that n**gas think that they can f**k on anything, but when I start talking to n**gas you wanna threaten me with taking sh*t that I f**king worked my a*s off for."
During the live session, Cardi made it clear she wanted to move on from the relationship and urged Offset to do the same.
"Since you wanna threaten me, talking about you wanna take my sh*t cause I wanna move on? Move on," she said, while reminding him of his past infidelity. "It's no fun when momma got the gun, right?"
Offset, however, did not remain silent. He took to the comments section, accusing Cardi of cheating while pregnant with his child, writing, "U f**ked with a baby inside tell the truth."
The public back-and-forth between the couple suggests that this breakup may become even more contentious, especially if Cardi B follows through on her promise to take Offset to court.
