NICL Scandal: Chief investigator’s vehicle damaged

The rear windscreen of the vehicle was smashed while it was parked inside the FIA office premises.

LAHORE: An official vehicle in use of Additional Director General Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Zafar Qureshi was damaged by unknown assailants, The Express Tribune has learnt. Qureshi is also the chief investigator of the multi-billion-rupee National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) scam case. While he was chairing a meeting regarding the NICL investigation, the rear windscreen of his vehicle was smashed while it was parked inside the FIA office premises. Qureshi is learnt to have ordered a probe into the incident. Qureshi insisted that he was being continually harrassed.
