Traffic plan in place for Milad procession

RAWALPINDI:

The Rawalpindi City Traffic Police (CTP) has developed a traffic plan to ensure smooth flow during the Eid Miladun Nabi (pbuh) procession on Friday along Peshawar Road and Chauhar Chowk.

A total of 143 officers, including four DSPs, 25 senior traffic wardens and 114 traffic wardens and assistants, will be on duty. To manage traffic, specific points will see diversions and alternative routes will be provided.

Key roads will be closed to traffic, including Darbar Shah Pyara Road, Allahabad Road, Ghazi Road, and Ashiyana Chowk from Muhammadabad to Progressive School.
