Donald Trump has made startling allegations against Iran, claiming the nation has targeted him for assassination and might continue to do so.

In a recent statement on X, Trump highlighted the severity of the threats: “Big threats on my life by Iran,” he announced.

“The entire US Military is watching and waiting. Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again.”

Further details were provided by Trump’s campaign, revealing that the former president was briefed by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) about imminent threats aimed at destabilizing the United States.

“President Trump was briefed earlier today by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) regarding real and specific threats from Iran to assassinate him in an effort to destabilize and sow chaos in the United States," his campaign confirmed in a statement.

This disclosure comes in the wake of multiple security incidents, including a recent scare at Trump's Florida golf course and a previous assault at a rally in Pennsylvania on 13 July, where he sustained injuries.

Despite these incidents, there has been no confirmed connection to Iranian actions.

Amidst ongoing disputes, Iran has denied any involvement in such assassination attempts or in meddling with American electoral processes. An ODNI spokesperson affirmed Trump's receipt of the briefing but declined to divulge further details.
