He further said Federal Police Sub-Inspector Sohaib Pasha, posted at Shams Colony police station in Islamabad, detained 12-year-old Abdullah and 11-year-old Abdul Rahman from the premises of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital and took them to Shams Colony police station.

The sub-inspector kept the children in custody for two days without making any record. The accused tortured the children after allegedly subjecting them to rape and left the children at the Edhi Centre. The federal capital police produced the suspect before the Judicial Magistrate Shehzad Khan's court and sought a seven-day physical remand. The prosecutor argued that the suspect's DNA test needs to be conducted, requiring a seven-day remand. However, the court granted a four-day physical remand instead.
