Two waiters killed in sleep in Bhakkar

Police begin forensic investigation

BHAKKAR:

Two waiters were found dead at a restaurant on Kallar Kot Road near Jandanwala.

The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, with residents reporting gunfire around 4:00 am.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that the victims, Bilal Aslam and Muhammad Talha, were shot in the head while sleeping on the hotel's rooftop.

Local police arrived at the scene, followed by DSP Kallar Kot, Nasrullah Khan, on the orders of District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Abdullah Lak.

Forensic teams were also called in to aid in the investigation, and crucial evidence was collected from the scene.

The victims, both in their mid-20s, were identified as Bilal Aslam, a resident of Jandanwala, and Muhammad Talha, from Chak 43, Khushab District.

Both men had been working at the hotel for some time.

Eyewitnesses reported that the two had shared a meal the previous night, raising questions about the possible motive for their murders.

DPO Abdullah Lak has taken serious notice of the crime and ordered a detailed report from DSP Kallar Kot.

He assured that every angle of the case would be thoroughly investigated to identify and apprehend those responsible for the killings.

A specialised police team has been formed to expedite the investigation.
