Metro employees threaten to lock offices

The economic crisis for metropolitan employees in Peshawar has not been resolved

PESHAWAR:

The economic crisis for metropolitan employees in Peshawar has not been resolved, and employees have not received their salaries.

They have threatened that if they don't get paid by October 1, they will lock down the Capital Metropolitan offices by the second and will protest vigorously.

A welcome programme for the labor union took place on Tuesday, and was attended by a large number of union leaders. During this event, Patron-in-chief Riaz Khan and other leaders were present. On this occasion, Malik Daniyal, Salman Tasleem, Jamshed Khan, and Zeeshan Tasleem also joined the labour union's rally.

The leaders pointed out that employees are not receiving their salaries on time, causing them immense difficulties. They stated that if salaries are not received by October 1, the metropolitan offices will be locked down on the next day.

They emphasised that the future belongs to the labor union, and soon all employees will join.
