Jake Paul says God spoke to him as he prepares for $30m fight against Mike Tyson
Jake Paul, the former YouTuber-turned-boxer, has shared details of a personal spiritual experience he says is driving his career and ambitions.
Speaking from his $16 million Puerto Rico mansion, the 27-year-old opened up about how a DMT experience changed his life, leading him to believe that God has given him a mission to inspire others.
“God is ushering me to change the world in many ways,” Paul said, explaining that his rise from Disney Channel actor to professional boxer is meant to motivate others to chase their dreams.
Ahead of his highly anticipated $30 million fight against Mike Tyson in November, Paul reflected on his journey from internet provocateur to legitimate athlete.
With a current 10–1 boxing record, he’s confident in his future, saying, “Boxing gives people an outlet. It’s an art form, and it’s become a powerful expression of who I am.”
Despite his controversial reputation, Paul remains focused on his goal of becoming a world champion and reshaping the sport of boxing for a new generation of fans.
Paul’s fight with Tyson, set to air on Netflix, is expected to break streaming records, further solidifying his place in the sports world.
While many critics have doubted his abilities, Paul insists he’s here to stay. "I had to fix me before I could fix the world," he said, highlighting the personal growth that has come with his rise in the boxing arena.
