Amidst swirling rumors involving Diddy's infamous parties, Drake subtly stirred the pot with a pointed movie reference on his Instagram.

On September 23, the famed rapper shared a screenshot from the 2015 film 'The Big Short', highlighting a dialogue by Ryan Gosling's character: "I never hung out with these idiots after work, ever. I had fashion friends."

This post, shared on Drake's lesser-known burner account, comes at a significant time, as rumors circulate about several rappers’ involvement in Diddy's infamous "freak off" parties.

The tension between Drake and Diddy dates back to 2014, starting with a viral incident where Drake snatched a microphone from Diddy during a live performance.

The situation escalated with accusations about beat ownership for the track "0 to 100" and further intensified after The Game alleged on Vlad TV that Diddy had once put out a hit on Drake and had physical altercations with him.

Despite these past altercations, Diddy sought to downplay the conflict in a 2014 appearance on The Breakfast Club, stating, "I did not put hands on Drake and I do not want any problems with Drake. Drake is…right now. That’s all I have to say. He’s putting in his work."

However, Drake’s 2016 track "4PM In Calabasas" seemed to contradict Diddy’s peaceful overtures, as it contained what many believe to be subliminal disses targeting Diddy.

This latest post by Drake continues his tradition of using pop culture references to comment subtly on personal and industry disputes, keeping fans and followers guessing about his true intentions and feelings towards other figures in the music world.
