TV and film actor Adnan Siddiqui took to Instagram to dedicate a heartwarming Story to his two young ones on Daughters Day. "Raising my two girls has been like hosting a reality show. We have plenty of drama, unexpected twists, and countless 'Abba, seriously?' moments. I wouldn't have it any other way. Happy Daughters Day to my stars and to all the dads out there!" he wished over a sweet photograph with his daughters, whose faces were censored.

Despite being known for his sombre performances on screen, Adnan like any other parent is not immune to the softness that his children bring out of him, and this fondness is definitely not a brand new look on the veteran actor. It has often bled into the characters he has played in the past, such as his role in Mom as the loving father to a daughter who survived sexual assault.

Back in 2020, the Ye Dil Mera actor wrote a much longer letter attached to an endearing artwork on Daughters Day. "Dear Maryam Jan and Daniya Jania," he began, addressing the two directly and pairing their names with adorable hooks. "You two are growing up so fast that I really wish to either stop the time or get ahold of a time machine and go back to the day you were born."

"Wasn't it only yesterday that you were giving me sleepless nights with your cries? And it was just a moment ago that you clasped your little finger in my hand, trusting me to hold you steady as you took your first steps," he reminisced. "And look at both of you now, becoming such fine young ladies! Making Abba Jan proud every day, even when you lock horns with me to assert your opinions."

"I know you hate me at times for disagreeing with you, but it is a learning curve both of you should go through on your own. You should make your own choices - right or wrong, take your own decisions - good or bad. The only word of advice I have for you is be responsible for all that you do," the 54-year-old actor advised.

He finished with a warm sentiment, "I will always be there to catch you whenever you fall because life is not a smooth sailing. It would, however, be your own journey. I'll be the wind beneath your wings, the flight will be yours. I will watch you from the shadows, you will celebrate life. Happy Daughters Day! Love, Abba."
