Fawad Khan to star in new rom-com alongside Ridhi Dogra

Fawad Khan is set to make his Bollywood comeback in an untitled romantic comedy, partnering with Indian TV actor Ridhi Dogra.

The project, which has recently completed its paperwork, marks Fawad's return to the industry after a lengthy hiatus since his last film, "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil".

Sources confirm that the duo will portray romantic interests, although details about the director remain undisclosed. Filming is scheduled to commence by the end of this year, with all shoots planned outside India, primarily in New York and London, aligning with the film's romantic theme.

Contrary to earlier reports that said Fawad would star opposite Vaani Kapoor, it has now been confirmed that he will be paired with Ridhi, known for her recent roles in blockbuster films like "Jawan" and "Tiger 3."

The film is still in its early stages, and supporting cast members have yet to be announced.

The makers aim for a release towards the end of 2025 or early 2026, as the anticipation builds for Fawad ’s return to Bollywood after an eight-year absence following a ban on Pakistani artists in India due to strained diplomatic relations.
