RFK Jr. supporters in swing state Nevada unfazed by sexting scandal

Amidst allegations of a controversial sexting scandal, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. drew substantial support during his appearance at a "Restore America" rally in Las Vegas, sponsored by former President Donald Trump.

Kennedy, who recently made headlines due to his alleged seamy sexting relationship with political journalist Olivia Nuzzi, was seen wearing his wedding band at the event, which took place on Saturday night.

The rally saw a turnout of staunch supporters who appeared largely indifferent to the recent bombshell allegations surrounding Kennedy.

Local supporter Ken Czech expressed his ignorance of the scandal, focusing instead on Kennedy's political endeavors.

“I’m not familiar with that particular issue. I am with a lot of issues, but that one’s new to me,” Czech said, donned in a "Kennedy 24" t-shirt.

Despite the controversy, attendees like retired Las Vegas court reporter Christine Johnson and retired Judge Charles Weinberg dismissed the significance of the allegations, emphasizing Kennedy's integrity and dismissing the sexting story as mere propaganda.

Similarly, Charles Atwood Hightower, a retired US army sergeant, defended Kennedy’s right to privacy.

The event also featured former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who criticized the attention given to the scandal as a distraction from more pressing political issues.

“The elitist, permanent Washington establishment, the military-industrial complex, the national security state, this whole cabal of the power elite are so terrified of President Trump winning this election that they will continue to do what they have been doing for years and throw everything they possibly can at it,” Gabbard stated.

Kennedy, who has thrown his support behind Trump following his withdrawal from the presidential race, did not address the scandal during his speech.

However, his public demeanor and the supportive crowd underscored a continued focus on his political mission rather than personal controversies.
