Princess Kate makes first appearance since completing chemotherapy
Princess Kate attended Crathie Kirk Church near Balmoral Castle for Sunday Service, marking her first public appearance since announcing she has completed chemotherapy. Accompanied by Prince William, King Charles, and Queen Camilla, Kate appeared well, wearing a khaki hat, as she sat in the passenger seat while her husband, Prince William, drove. The Royal Family frequently attends services at the small parish church while in residence at Balmoral.
Last week, Kate revealed in an emotional video her "relief" at finishing cancer treatment, stating, "Staying cancer free is now my focus." The princess has since returned to her duties, holding her first official meeting at Windsor Castle with early years charity chiefs, following a nine-month absence. The Court Circular recorded her involvement as Joint Patron of The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales.
Kate is expected to appear at several engagements before the year’s end, including the Royal Family’s participation in Armistice Day in November and her annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey.
