Rehabilitation of addicts stressed

The district administration has launched an initiative aimed at the rehabilitation of drug addicts across the district, with priority measures to support their recovery and reintegration into society.

During a visit to the Drug Rehabilitation Center in Mati Tal on Saturday, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Wasim Hamid Sandhu emphasised the importance of effective rehabilitation programs.

He interacted with recovering individuals, inspected the treatment facilities, and announced the introduction of special courses designed to help patients overcome addiction.
