RAWALPINDI:

A tragic incident unfolded in the Wah police station area of Rawalpindi when a man, identified as Nader Khan, brutally murdered his brother-in-law, Javed Khan, over a trivial dispute involving cigarettes.

According to the police, the incident occurred when Javed was visiting his mother. Nader, armed with a sickle, barged into the house and launched a vicious attack on Javed, inflicting deep wounds on his neck, eye, nose and hand. Despite being rushed to Wah General Hospital, Javed succumbed to his injuries.

The police have revealed that the underlying cause of this heinous crime was a petty argument over cigarettes. Javed's son had refused to give Nader cigarettes, which ignited a rage that ultimately led to the fatal attack.

Neighbors described both men as generally peaceful, raising concerns about the growing incidents of aggression over minor disputes in the area.
