Alfie Best Jr converts to Islam, shares spiritual journey

The entrepreneur cites the teachings of the Holy Quran as significant to his life.

Alfie Best Jr, one of Great Britain's prominent businessmen, has recently embraced Islam, marking a significant personal transformation.

Known for his entrepreneurial spirit, Alfie Best Jr, is the son of mobile home park magnate Alfie Best Sr, with a combined family net worth of £700 million according to the Sunday Times Rich List.

A few months ago, Alfie Best Jr shared a photograph from a mosque, captioned: "Allah guides, none can misguide. Whoever He misguides, none can guide." He later posted a video with the message, “All Praise to God… Alhamdulillah,” celebrating his new faith.

Born on May 22, 1997, in Redbridge, London, Alfie Best Jr rose to fame through appearances on reality shows such as My Big Fat Gypsy Fortune and Rich Kids Go Shopping.

His entrepreneurial journey began in childhood, selling sweets at school and eventually owning a nightclub by the age of 17, making him the youngest park owner in the UK after purchasing a mobile home park.

In a recent podcast with Dodge Woodall, Alfie Jr reflected on his conversion, stating, “I picked up a copy of the Quran, and it instantly spoke to me. It had morals that I had already lived by … it’s a moral code, a beautiful moral code for anybody, and any family.” He praised the Qur’an for containing scientific insights that were ahead of its time, noting, “Intermittent fasting has recently been recognised for its health benefits—they wrote this in the Quran 1,400 years ago.”

Alfie Best Sr, while busy with his ventures, responded positively to his son's conversion, saying it enhanced his character. Alfie Jr expressed some initial nervousness about sharing the news, but his father acknowledged the positive changes in him since embracing Islam.

As he continues on this spiritual journey, Alfie Jr aims to follow in his father's entrepreneurial footsteps while also promoting the moral values he has found in his new faith.
