Teenager killed while shooting TikTok video

An incident linked to TikTok has claimed the life of a young man in Liaquatabad.

Police said Ahmed, a resident of the area, was gravely injured after being shot in the eye while standing outside his home on Monday.

The gunman fled the scene immediately after the shooting. Ahmed fought for his life for three days but eventually succumbed to his injuries.

A CCTV footage and the victim's statement led to the arrest of the suspect, identified as Umair, who turned out to be a close friend of the deceased.

The police revealed that the shooting occurred while the two friends were filming a TikTok video outside Ahmed's house. According to Umair's statement, the gun accidentally discharged during the filming. The authorities have since seized the handgun used in the incident.

In such an incident reported a few days back an 18-year-old boy, Hamza, lost his life while filming near the Chaklala Railway Station on Gurja Road, Rawalpindi.
