Miley Cyrus had her own “Party in the U.S.A.” on Wednesday night as she made a rare public appearance with her boyfriend, Maxx Morando, at a Future Islands concert in Los Angeles, which took place at the Shrine Auditorium.

Cyrus styled her hair in a casual half-up, half-down look and wore a black sweater paired with matching black accessories for the event.

Morando, on the other hand, kept his hair loose and opted for a navy blue Polo Bear Cotton-Linen Sweater from Ralph Lauren, which is currently priced at nearly $400.

Cyrus has reportedly been in a relationship with the Liily drummer since 2021 after they were set up on a blind date.

In February, a source close to the couple shared that they had moved in together and were “very happy” in their relationship.

“Everyone loves Maxx. He’s a great guy,” the insider told People at the time. “She is very happy with him. He’s private and doesn’t like being in the press. It’s been good for her.”

This outing occurred not long after the singer was sued by Tempo Music Investments — an investment firm that claims partial ownership of the copyright for Bruno Mars’ 2012 single “When I Was Your Man” — for copyright infringement over her 2023 Grammy-winning song, “Flowers.”

According to legal documents, the platform alleges that the chorus, harmony, melody, chord progressions, and lyrics of “Flowers” were “intentionally” copied from the “24K Magic” singer’s track.

It is worth noting that Mars is not listed as a plaintiff alongside Tempo Music Investments in the lawsuit.

The “Used to be Young” singer won her first Grammy Awards for “Flowers” in 2024, securing the trophies for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, beating out Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish.
