Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reunite for back-to-school night amid divorce

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck presented a united image as they attended their children’s back-to-school event together while going through their divorce.

As per TMZ, the former couple came to support their kids at a school in the Los Angeles area on Tuesday evening.

Sources informed the outlet that they were “cordial” and “totally cool with each other.”

The insider also noted that despite their continued divorce proceedings, they “still care for each other.”

Lopez, 55, shares her 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck, 52, is the father of Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner.

The "Gigli" co-stars have put their differences aside for the benefit of their blended family, having been seen together over the weekend.

The lunch they shared at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday marked their first public appearance together since Lopez ended their marriage the previous month.

Paparazzi snapped pictures of the family, excluding Violet who is away at college, as they arrived at the luxury hotel to dine at the Polo Lounge.

Sources told Page Six that during the meal, the “Gone Girl” actor “could not keep his hands off” Lopez, and they spent time away from their three children.

They were even “holding hands and kissing,” which was said to be “not planned.”

“They have always had a lot of sexual chemistry,” a source told Page Six. “They are still attracted to one another.”

The couple had been married for two years before Lopez filed for divorce in August.
