Girl tops special candidates XII exam

Tooba Shabbir Ahmed from Dewa Higher Secondary School secured the top position obtaining 1014 marks out of 1100

Tooba Shabbir Ahmed from Dewa Higher Secondary School secured the top position obtaining 1014 marks out of 1100 in Class XII Special Candidates (Arts Regular Group) Annual Examinations 2024.

Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Chairman of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK), announced the results on Thursday. Kamal Kumar, a student at ABSA College for the Deaf and son of Ashok Kumar, secured the second position with 999 marks, while Farah, daughter of Asrar Ahmed from ABSA College for the Deaf, bagged third place with 977 marks.

While sharing details of the results, exams moderator Zareena Rashid said that out of 78 registered candidates, 76 sat the exam, leading to a success rate of 88.16%. The breakdown of successful candidates by grade is as follows: 13 candidates secured A-one, 27 achieved A, 20 received B, and 7 attained C grades.

The results are now available on the official BIEK website. Students can also check their results through the BIEK's official Android app, which can be downloaded by searching for "BIEK" in the app store.
