Corruption: Othiyaan cops transferred
Police officials were accused of beating up people who came to register an FIR, says DPO.

District Police Officer (DPO) Bilal Sadiq Kamiyana has transferred all the police officials deputed at Othiyaan-Daska police check post. According to police officials, the action was taken after a large number of complaints were registered against the highhandedness of police officials. “Police officials were accused of beating up people who came to register an FIR, extorting money and illegally impounding vehicles,” the DPO said.
