Jennie, a key member of BLACKPINK, recently shared her thoughts in an interview with Harper's Bazaar about navigating life in the public eye while working on her highly anticipated debut solo album.

Known for her fierce onstage persona, Jennie revealed that she often switches into performance mode. “Anyone who meets me will say I’m so far from what I represent as me onstage,” she said. This switch, according to Jennie, is not an act but rather a part of her that she’s learned to turn on.

In a candid conversation, Jennie discussed her efforts to focus on herself after spending years dedicated to Blackpink’s global success. "I never get to see my friends because I’m constantly either tired or working," she shared, emphasizing the rarity of personal time.

After spending weeks in the studio, Jennie is balancing her solo album project while maintaining her connection with fans. Despite the challenges, Jennie remains deeply grateful for the support BLACKPINK has received, describing the group’s 2023 Coachella headline as a career highlight.

As Jennie continues her journey of self-discovery, she’s committed to remaining true to her roots. Her upcoming solo work will mark a new chapter in her career, but she assures fans, “BLACKPINK Jennie will always be a part of me, but you will also get to experience this new side.”
