In a recent interview with the Associated Press, George Clooney shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race, calling her support "beautiful" and recognizing Swift as "a real phenomenon right now."

Clooney, who has been vocal about political engagement, expressed excitement about the involvement of younger voters in the national conversation. Swift’s endorsement, which came after Harris' debate with Donald Trump, has become a focal point for political discussions online.

Swift took to Instagram to share her endorsement, telling her 280 million followers she would be voting for Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, in the November election. In her post, she described Harris as "a steady-handed, gifted leader" who could guide the country with calm rather than chaos.

Notably, Swift signed the post "childless cat lady," a pointed response to Republican running mate JD Vance’s previous comments about Democrats, which he later called a "sarcastic remark."

Clooney's praise adds to a growing number of celebrities endorsing Harris. Alongside Swift, artists like Billie Eilish, Finneas, Charli XCX, and Olivia Rodrigo have also voiced their support for the Vice President.

With issues like reproductive rights and misinformation taking center stage in this election, Swift’s endorsement is seen as pivotal, especially given her significant influence among younger voters.

Clooney’s admiration for her stance reflects the broader impact of celebrity voices in political discourse today.
