Shahrukh Khan called out for breaking promise to late musician’s widow
Vijeta Pandit, widow of renowned Indian musician Adesh Shrivastava, has claimed that Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan failed to fulfil a promise he made after her husband's death in 2015.
According to Vijeta, Shahrukh assured her he would support their son, Aadesh, in his career, but she claims the actor is now unreachable.
Shrivastava, who passed away after a battle with cancer, had a close friendship with Shahrukh.
Vijeta recalled how the actor visited the hospital the day before her husband's death and promised to take care of their son.
However, Vijeta claims the phone number Shahrukh provided no longer works, and despite several attempts, she has not been able to contact him.
"My son is hardworking, but he’s not getting any support in the industry. I want to remind Shahrukh Khan of his promise," Vijeta said.
She expressed her desire for Shahrukh to involve her son in a film project under his production banner, Red Chillies Entertainment.
Vijeta added that her son, Aadesh, is currently involved in an OTT project, but more help is needed.
She urged Shahrukh to help fulfil his commitment and assist her son in establishing a successful career.
