Kesha has officially changed the lyrics of her hit song “TiK ToK,” now saying "Wake up in the morning like f*** P. Diddy," in place of the original reference to the rapper. Kesha first debuted the revised lyric during a Coachella performance alongside Renée Rapp in April 2024. The change follows a series of sexual misconduct allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, including accusations of sex trafficking and assault.

Kesha took to social media to confirm that the lyric change is permanent, expressing her pride in the new version. She shared that the decision stems from her desire to protect her own joy, and that she plans to re-record the song as soon as legally possible. This development comes amid ongoing legal battles involving Combs, including lawsuits filed by his former partner Cassie Ventura and other individuals who have come forward with allegations.

This isn't the first time Kesha has modified the lyrics, but the current change is tied to the broader public conversation surrounding Diddy's legal troubles. Kesha’s fans have praised her decision, seeing it as a bold stance during a sensitive time.
