Kesha's 'TiK ToK' earns second Diamond certification in the US

Kesha achieves a milestone with her second Diamond single in the US as "TiK ToK" reaches 12x Platinum status.

Kesha’s chart-topping hit "TiK ToK" is now 12x Platinum, marking her second Diamond certification in the US. 

The track, which was initially released in 2009, became a cultural sensation and solidified Kesha's place in pop music history. 

Pop Crave reported further about Kesha’s success on X, highlighting several of Kesha's other hits that have also received new certifications, including "We R Who We R" and "Die Young," both certified 6x Platinum, and "Praying," which has earned a 5x Platinum status.

Additionally, her debut album Animal is now 4x Platinum, with tracks like "Your Love Is My Drug" and "Blow" also reaching 5x Platinum. 

Other notable certifications include "Blah Blah Blah" (3x Platinum), "Cannibal" (album, 2x Platinum), and "Warrior" (album, Platinum). Her more recent single, "Raising Hell," along with several other tracks like "Backstabber" and "Grow A Pear," achieved Gold certification.

"TiK ToK" became a defining track when it first appeared during the launch year of TikTok, a platform that also rapidly rose to fame and now dominates social media. With this new milestone, Kesha continues to prove her staying power in the music industry.
