Netflix has officially renewed Emily in Paris for a fifth season, following the success of season 4. The announcement was made by lead actress Lily Collins during an appearance on Good Morning America. Creator Darren Star expressed his excitement about continuing Emily’s journey, saying, “We’re thrilled with the incredible response to this season of Emily in Paris and excited to return for a fifth to continue Emily’s adventures in Rome and Paris!”

Season 4 saw Emily, played by Collins, begin a new chapter in Rome, sparking a romance with Italian fashion scion Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini, and setting up a new office for Agence Grateau in Italy. However, Star confirmed that the show will maintain Emily’s presence in Paris, saying, “Emily’s going to have a presence in Rome. It doesn’t mean she’s not going to be in Paris, but she’s going to have a presence in Rome.”

The new season will also explore Emily’s relationships, particularly with Marcello, with Star hinting at more romance in season 5. Season 4 of Emily in Paris was a major hit, ranking #1 on Netflix's Global Top 10 with 19.9 million views in its first four days.
