BTS' Jin and RM send heartfelt Chuseok greetings to fans with personal video and playful meme
BTS members Jin and RM marked the Korean holiday of Chuseok by sharing personalized messages with their fans, each showcasing their distinct styles. Jin, recently discharged from his military service, appeared in a video dressed in traditional Hanbok attire. He greeted fans by asking, “Are you enjoying your holiday?” and humorously remarked on the passage of time since his discharge, saying, “It feels like I was just discharged yesterday. Time sure flies.” Jin concluded his message with a warm wish, saying, “I hope you spend Hangawi full of happiness with your loved ones,” encouraging fans to cherish the remainder of 2024 with family and friends.
In contrast, RM took a more playful approach on Instagram, posting a meme featuring a character saying, “From where are you suddenly popping out so rudely?” He followed it with a drawing of scissors, cleverly playing on the word "han gawi" (scissors), which sounds similar to "Hangawi," another name for Chuseok. RM's humorous post added a lighthearted tone to his greetings, reflecting his playful personality.
All six BTS members—RM, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—are currently fulfilling their military duties, with Jin being the first to complete his service. Despite these commitments, BTS' global fanbase remains enthusiastic, eagerly awaiting the group’s anticipated reunion in 2025 once all members complete their service.
