Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez ‘still moving forward’ with divorce despite PDA-filled brunch
According to a source from People, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are “still moving forward” with their divorce, even after they were spotted kissing and holding hands during a brunch with their blended family at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills. “They all came together for a fun lunch so the kids could hang out,” the source explained, adding that Lopez is “trying to be friendly with Ben.”
The former couple, who eloped in July 2022 without signing a prenup, are reportedly working out their financial details amicably. The source added, “A divorce is never easy, but Jennifer doesn’t want to be selfish about it. The kids always got along and have fun together. It makes her happy seeing the kids happy together.”
Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, was also seen at the hotel, picking up their children, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, after brunch. Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme, 16, were also present.
Lopez filed for divorce in August, citing irreconcilable differences and listing their separation date as April 26. The divorce, according to insiders, “has the potential to get ugly” as they navigate the split without a prenup, which under California law requires them to divide the income earned since their marriage.
Affleck and Lopez’s joint Beverly Hills mansion is on the market for $68 million, while Affleck purchased a new $20.5 million home in Pacific Palisades in July.
