Bilwani murder case main suspect killed in encounter

The South Zone Investigation Police on Sunday claimed to have killed the main suspect involved in the murder of prominent businessman during an encounter.

According to DIG South, Asad Raza, the deceased suspect has been identified as Manthar, son of Sahib. The suspect was involved in the murder of businessman Asif Balwani during a robbery attempt in Defence Housing Authority on June 4. The incident was also captured on CCTV footage.

DIG Raza stated that a pistol and a stolen motorcycle were recovered from the dead suspect.
