Kamala Harris' campaign quickly took advantage of Taylor Swift’s recent endorsement of the vice president for the 2024 presidential race.

The Democratic National Committee unveiled a billboard in New York City’s Times Square this week, featuring a picture of Harris, 59, alongside the phrase, “We’re In Our Kamala Era,” as reported by People.

According to the magazine, two more Swift-inspired billboards are also displayed on the Las Vegas strip.

The global pop icon, who had remained quiet about the upcoming election for several months, finally voiced her support after Tuesday's presidential debate.

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” the "Fortnight" singer, 34, announced via Instagram at that time.

She added, “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.

“I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”

Swift also commended Harris’ running mate, Tim Waltz, praising his long-standing support for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s reproductive rights.

The endorsement led to a significant increase in voter registrations, with more than 400,000 people signing up to vote in under 24 hours, as reported by several sources.

To mark the occasion, the Harris-Waltz campaign began selling friendship bracelets, a tribute to an accessory often worn by Swift’s dedicated fan base, the “Swifties.”
