Laura Loomer responds to criticism over association with Trump

Laura Loomer, a right-wing social media activist and former congressional candidate, has responded to growing criticism over her association with Donald Trump via a post on X (formerly Twitter). 

Loomer addressed the rumors surrounding her connection with the former president, asserting that she is taking the hits for Trump and will continue to fight despite the backlash.

“Sometimes you have to take one for the team. I’m taking the hits and the blows, but they will never knock me down,” Loomer stated. She framed the attacks against her as part of a broader effort to undermine Trump’s re-election bid, adding, “The same people who are attacking Donald Trump are attacking me by using the same tactics they have used for years.”

Loomer, who has been a divisive figure in conservative media for years, reiterated her unwavering support for Trump, describing him as someone who has "taken a bullet for every American." She vowed to continue her investigative work and expose Trump’s enemies, specifically mentioning upcoming investigations into Vice President Kamala Harris.

Despite concerns from some GOP figures about Loomer's influence on Trump's campaign, Loomer remains defiant, declaring, “We will get Donald Trump back into the White House despite the media’s baseless attacks!”
